For over a decade Dr. Nelson has been practicing oral surgery in the DFW area. Dentistry is in his family as he is a fourth generation dentist. Dr. Nelson's brother is an orthodontist in the Houston area and his father continue to practice dentistry at 72 years of age.
Dr. Nelson is committed to the delivery of the best oral surgery treatment and experience possible. His clinical experience as a practitioner and instructor includes implant dentistry where he utilizes the very latest technology in planning and delivering the very best in clinical care.
Dr. Nelson studied dentistry at UCLA and studied medicine at Texas Tech. He is a native of Los Angeles but came to Texas to settle down as his new home. He completed his Oral Surgery training at Baylor in Dallas and continues to serve the oral surgery program as an Associate Clinical Professor for over ten years. Many of the current dentists throughout Dallas were once his students.
Dr. Nelson has four children and lives in Frisco where he enjoys golf, travel, snow skiing and serving his church and community. His latest hobby is running several half marathons with his fiancée Rachel.
Dr. Paola Arcila is a Dallas, TX native. Dr. Arcila attended Texas Woman’s University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She continued on to Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Arcila has always had a passion for helping others, a passion she now expresses through dentistry. Her focus is on listening to her patients’ needs and fulfilling them to the best of her ability. With this in mind, she is dedicated to providing quality comprehensive dental care to each patient.
On her free time, Dr. Arcila enjoys spending time with her fiancée, family, friends, and her dogs. They enjoy watching movies, game nights, and of course dancing to some Salsa.
Dr. Alvarez grew up in Brownsville, Texas. Following the completion of her undergrad at Texas A&M University, go Aggies!, she received her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. While attending, Dr. Alvarez was a member of Hispanic Student Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Alvarez enjoys spending her spare time with her family, friends, and volunteering with community outreach programs. She believes continuous education is necessary to provide the best, individualized care to her patients. Her passion and dedication to dentistry drives her to deliver quality and affordable dental procedures to her patients.
Dr. Cramer entered dentistry with the singular goal of helping people be proud of their smile, though his path to this profession was unconventional. Dr. Cramer is a Dallas-area native who graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Arlington as a mechanical engineer. He then worked at Motorola where he lead design teams developing mobile phone tower equipment. While enjoying the scientific aspects of this work, Dr. Cramer's passion for working with people prevailed to the point that he felt called to attend dental school and enter the profession of orthodontics. After graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Cramer completed his Master of Science degree and Orthodontic Certificate at the prestigious Orthodontic Residency Program at Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Cramer's patients appreciate his "keep it simple" approach when discussing treatment options. Dr. Cramer regularly attends continuing education courses and lectures regarding the latest treatment advances so that he can provide the best outcome possible to his patients. Dr. Cramer is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society. And, because he has a deaf brother, Dr. Cramer is fluent in American Sign Language and enjoys caring for the deaf community as well.
Dr. Cramer's free time is spent with his wife enjoying their twin girls as they participate in dance, swim and generally keep mom and dad busy. They have lived in Coppell since 1997 and are long-time members of St. Ann Parish.
